Long ago, an angel brought joyful news to the shepherds on the fields of Bethlehem. Nearly two thousand years later, Radko delivers his own message, not to shepherds, but to his parents and his mentally absent grandmother. While the shepherds once received their message with joy, Radko’s family’s reaction is far more complicated. After an accident involving the Bethlehem light, Christmas Eve turns into an unbearably silent night. Radko is forced to set out on a journey that will test not only his physical strength, but also his courage to remain true to himself.
