On a sweltering Brooklyn afternoon, two nobodies with high hopes decide to rob a bank. Sonny is the boss, Sal his partner in crime, and the whole thing blows up in their faces. The cops arrive, along with the TV cameras, and even a pizza delivery. Based on actual events, this is the story of a botched heist driven by (what was then a rarely depicted) love, featuring an outstanding performance by Al Pacino.
