The 1990s are "in" in the Philippines too. Billie, a troublemaker from the big city finds herself exiled to San Isidro to live with her spinster aunt who is also the town's religion teacher. Determined to accept her fate and get through the last year of high school without incident, Billie hides from the world. All looks shiny for like a few days. And then she meets Emma, the ambitious, star student. Soon, it is clearer than a bright summer day that Billie`s determination won`t hold and that everything will get somewhat complicated.
