A remote fishing village in Iceland. Teenage boys Thór and Christian go through a turbulent, unforgettable summer as one tries to win a girl’s heart while the other discovers new feelings toward his best friend. As summer gradually ends and the harsh Icelandic wilderness reclaims its throne, the boys are forced to leave their carefree childhood behind and face the trials of growing up… “Heartstone is a personal story based on my experience growing up in a small fishing village. […] The village is a place full of contrasts, where kids discover how nature and people can be both amazingly beautiful and incredibly cruel.” (Guðmundur Arnar Guðmundsson)
