In a snowy rural town, Takuya, a boy with a husky voice who is no good at hockey, falls in love with Sakura, a girl who practices figure skating. One day, Sakura's coach, former figure skater Arakawa, sees Takuya imitating figure skating while still in hockey shoes, falling over and over again. Deciding to support Takuya's love, Arakawa lends him his figure skates and accompanies him in practice. Eventually, at Arakawa's suggestion, Takuya and Sakura start practicing ice dancing as a pair. A gentle story of (not only) first love and the way the prejudice of adults can turn harmful when adopted by kids.
