Anything can happen on a business trip; even an ordinary encounter can blossom into a love affair. But after only a few months, the romance between Thomas, a Berlin baker, and Oran, a married Israeli man, ends in tragedy when Oran is killed in a car accident. Thomas has no choice but to find Oran's widow, who is now raising their son by herself. Despite her initial wariness of Thomas, given his German origins, the mourning Anat hires the quiet young man in her cafe. The silent grief that connects them is, unbeknown to her, inspired by the same man.
