A young man from Prague transfers to a small village school as a teacher. He decided to run away from all his hopeless relationships to an environment where he could hopefully find himself and his next life path. He gradually gets closer to the people around him, especially to the divorced farmer and her teenage son. But human relationships are complicated, especially in Bohdan Slam's films. A teacher loves a son whose mother is in love with him, and a son loves a girl who runs away from him. In short, in this film, loves pass by, none of them reach fulfillment, but what is essential is the pain of their souls, which the director captured here in a non-pathetic and yet understanding and moving way, and the search for a way out in mutual forgiveness.
